In my personal life, I have been married since 1978 to Barbara McCoy Lambert, and we are the proud parents of two adult children – Travis and Caroline. We are regular members of and very active at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church in Lafayette, Louisiana. I have also been involved in a local interdenominational group known as Bridge Ministry of Acadiana. This is a group that uses Christian principles to help revitalize one of the most poverty-stricken neighborhoods in Lafayette. Since 2001, I also have been very actively involved in the Kairos Prison Ministry at Angola State Prison.
