Seeing students living the habits of mind is evident when coming from a different school. The first thing I noticed is that Waikiki School is very calm. I'm not running out to the field to break up fights during recess. I noticed that our kids are nicer, sweeter, more willing to help. We are not a perfect school but remembering what I came from reminds me of how lucky I am to be here.
