Technology Enhanced Lessons (16c)

Add your great ideas here about how to use technology to enhance lessons aligned with adopted curriculum.

For my Spanish students, I have them review for the upcoming chapter test by taking the online unit test at www.pasoapaso.com. This is a great review for students to practice with multiple choice questions and also allows them to practice with technology. Students who do not have internet access at home are welcome to use the internet in the school library or in my classroom. Thanks!

Hi everyone,

I was looking for online rubric makers and happened across this great website. It has a variery of categories with links to things such as certificate makers, activity sheet generators and much, much more! This seems like it is a good springboard to a wealth of resources. Check it out and enjoy!!!

A couple of us went to observe 2nd grade teacher, Karin Kritscher at Cypress during guided reading. She was really fabulous and said she used some sources from the following websites to give her ideas and materials to use and adapt for guided reading with her students. Check them out!!! :-)

I have been using powerpoint a lot this past year. I really like it because I can animate. If I am talking about an object rotating, I can rotate it. On one occasion, I was showing my students why the formlua for the area of a parallelogram works. I was able to start with a picture of a parallelogram, take away a trianlge and move it to the other side in order to make a rectangle. The best part about the power point is that I was able to replay it as many times as necessary.

Another added bonus that I have discovered about my powerpoints it that I can easily make copies of them for my students on 504 plans.
