My little sister just entered in her freshman year of high school. All throughout her junior high years, my mom was super involved in her learning and school work. The teachers at her school simply kept the parents up-to-date with all their progress and failures. If my sister was struggling with any of her classes, the teachers would send home the same assignment she failed or struggled with, and attached a note with what she did worng. My mom would make sure she got it done the right way. I guess the teachers just really need to get involved with the parents no matter the subject. Although, math is the subject that I find most children (of all grade levels) haveing trouble with.
