Always a hot topic at the end of the school year is how much information are students going to lose over the summer? Some researchers suggest, as found in this article from the Washington Post that most of the loss is in math, and not in subjects such as reading where most school systems participate in required summer reading.
Are you experiencing a summer brain drain come fall with your students? Do you think more of an emphasis should be placed on math over the summer? Please comment below.

I feel that any brain stimulus is a positive, irrespective of the subject material. I do suggest that a balanced approach to study skills during the summer months may prove beneficial.
