We are delighted to announce a new initiative for schools, which brings your teaching about rainforests to life, and at the same time, raises money for your school.
My Rainforest Project is being run in association with The Prince’s Rainforests Project. It is open to children, teachers and parents and offers everyone an opportunity to create a rainforest picture which can then be used on e-cards and bookmarks for free, as well as on a range of personalised products including cards, mugs, and reusable shopping bags for purchase.
It is free to register, free to take part, and everyone can have free downloadable bookmarks and e-cards. There is no minimum order for any item and all the products carry The Prince’s Rainforests Project logo to commemorate your involvement in the project. But what is great is that 10% of all sales go to your school.
It has been designed with teachers in mind, so all you have to do is register your class, download templates for the children to draw on and send them back. My Rainforest Project uploads the images and lets you know when you can download flyers to give to the children with individual codes so they can access their own designs. Your children can create their e-cards and order products online at home.
This project will end 31st December 2009, so if you would like to take part, please sign up your school at The Prince’s Rainforests Project for Schools or visit My Rainforest Project for more information.
Thank you very much for your continued support!
